Sylvia became the president at UBS bank in Brazil in 2013. Before joining UBS, Sylvia was responsible for the retail business, insurance and asset management at HSBC Bank for Latin America, and worked at Citigroup. She holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from ESALQ – USP, and an MBA from Columbia University. Sylvia also worked at institutions including ANBID, EDH, and was the president of LIDE Mulher.
