Amigos da Vida provides pro-bono legal aid in social security, labor, civil and administrative matters to HIV/AIDS carriers. The organization also provides legal assistance in the adoption of children orphaned by AIDS and promotes advocacy on legislation that could directly benefit HIV/AIDS carriers.
IMPACT
In 2014 through support from BrazilFoundation, Amigos da Vida benefited 1,436 people. Furthermore, 278 cases were taken to court, with 83 resulting in positive rulings for the beneficiary
