The IX Annual Gala will be held on Monday, September 19th, at the New York Public Library, which celebrates its centennial this year. As 2011 is the International Year of Forests, this year’s Gala will underscore how Brazil’s economic growth and international prominence must walk hand in hand with a deep sense of responsibility for the use of its natural resources and for the development of its people.
