Art Education Opens new Future for Young Citizens.
The ICA (Instituição de Incentivo à Criança e ao Adolescente de Mogi Mirim), founded in 1997 by Sofia Idalina Mazon, an executive in the transportation sector, to instill dignity and self-respect in underprivileged children and teenagers in Mogi, a small town in the interior of São Paulo state.

Promoting Justice and Transforming Lives.
Geledés, the Institute for Black Women, was founded 14 years ago based on the belief that something needed to be done to protect poor, black women in Brazil from social alienation, discrimination and violence. The non-governmental organization has been transforming the lives of thousands of families in São Paulo's outskirts by offering these women education, culture, work preparation, health, leisure, and above all justice.
